317 IRS officers reshuffled by the CBDT in two separate orders

Jaipur: The Central Board of Direct Taxes-CBDT on Thursday issued two separate orders and changed the responsibilities of 317 officers of the Indian Revenue Service working in the department.

CBDT has assigned new responsibilities to the recently promoted Principal Commissioner of Income Tax/Principal Director of Income Tax Investigation and Income Tax Commissioner/Director of Income Tax Investigation level officers, while some other officers have also been transferred. Several officers in Rajasthan have also got new responsibilities. According to the orders issued by CBDT, IRS officer Mamta Kochhar working in Rajasthan has been transferred to the post of Principal Income Tax Commissioner.
