27L students of 5th and 8th awaits results
Jaipur: The commitment to provide timely results to about 27 lakh students of the state by the Education Department has failed. The department had claimed to declare the result on May 25. But even after five days, the result are not out. Now it is expected that the result will be declared in the first week of June.
The examination of class 5th and 8th ended on 18 May. After this, the teachers checked the answer sheets within stipulated time, but the work of feeding the marks was so slow that on May 25, only 98% numbers could be fed. The department took two days to feed the remaining. Now the feeding has been completed, mark sheets are being prepared.
