25,424 tourists visited per day on average

Jaipur: In October, more than 7,88 lakh tourists came to the state. On an average daily arrival of 25,424 tourists was recorded in the State. Domestic and foreign tourists chose Rajasthan for the celebration of Dussehra and Deepawali festivals. A total of 45,55,856 tourists arrived in the state in the first 10 months of the current year, which is the highest percentage increase in the country after Corona. Travel traders believe that this number will increase further in winter. There has been a record increase of 84 percent in the number of domestic tourists. Director of Archaeology Department Mahendra Singh Khargawat said that the development of infrastructure facilities at tourist places and virtual tour also showed confidence among tourists about Rajasthan. Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, said that emerging as a model state in Covid vaccination clicked. “The state government constantly focused on domestic tourists and the results were spectacular,” she said.
