2,412 historysheeters held in 6 months

Jaipur: Taking on organized crime, Raj police have opened history-sheet of 1487 criminals and arrested 2412 history-sheeters in various cases under investigation from January 2019 to June 2022. At the same time, 784 history-sheeters were caught and placed under arrest. Emphasis of Raj police is on curbing organised crime and therefore the campaign is being run in monitoring of DGP M L Lather.

Success of campaign reflects in the fact that 2412 history sheeters were arrested during investigation of cases & 784 were arrested under warrant whereas 1487 new history-sheets were opened in various districts from Jan 2019 to June 2022. Of the total 10998 history-sheeters in the state, max of 662 are in Udaipur, followed by 568 in Ajmer, 443 in Bikaner, 442 in Nagaur, 435 in Barmer, 354 in Jaipur.
