22-yr-old medical student burnt alive, another critically injured in accident

Jaipur: A 22-year-old medical student was charred to death and one other sustained major burn injuries when a car rammed into a motorcycle at JLN Marg on Sunday night.

Police informed the bike was engulfed in fire after fuel tank busted due to collision. “The deceased has been identified as Vijay Chaudhary (22), a resident of Chomu, while his friend Mrigank Rana (21) sustained burn injuries. Both the victims are pursuing MBBS from SMS Medical College. On Sunday late night, Vijay and Mrigank were heading towards SMS hostel on a bullet motorcycle when a speeding car hit them at Moti Dungri Chauraha,” police said.

“The fuel tank of the motorcycle busted and caught fire in the collision. Vijay and Mrigank were rushed to SMS hospital for treatment. Vijay succumbed to burn injuries, while Mrigank is undergoing treatment in hospital,” police added.
