213 cases filed in 5 months, 203 traps and 8 cases of DA
Jaipur: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), led by two experienced IPS officials - DG BL Soni and ADG Dinesh MN, is constantly reaching new dimensions as 57 cases have been filed in the month of May. So far this year, a total of 213 cases have been filed in 5 months, the highest ever. Out of these cases, there were 203 traps, 8 cases of disproportionate assets and 2 of misuse of post.
In 2021, in the same period of first 5 months, there were 154 traps, 4 cases of DA and 7 cases of misuse of post while in 2020, from January to May, 54 cases of trap, 2 cases of DA and 14 cases of misuse of post were filed.
Records have also been broken in disposal also. In 2020, in the first five months 96 cases were disposed while in the year 2021, the disposal of 132 cases was carried out. Whereas in the current year, the results of research were presented in the courts in 213 cases which include 186 challans and 27 final reports.
