20-YR-OLD BOY KILLED IN JUVENILE SHELTER HOME BY OTHER INMATES

Jaipur: A 20-year-old boy was allegedly murdered by group of juvenile offenders in juvenile shelter home located in Transport Nagar area here.

Deceased, identified as Bunty alias Sonu, was hit by an iron rod when he was fast asleep. “Incident took place 11am on Wed. There were around 40 children living in shelter home & Bunty was apparently killed by a few among these children,” police said.

“Guard alerted police in morning when he saw the body lying in the room,” police added. More 18 criminal cases were registered against deceased here & other cities. Chairperson of Raj State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Sangeeta Beniwal visited juvenile home after incident.
