1,700 applications received for opening new nursing colleges

Jaipur: Nearly after six years, the Medical Department has invited applications for opening new nursing colleges in Raj. Department has received a large number of applications. Sources informed that more than 1700 applications has been received in the last 15 days. “Three more days are left to submit applications seeking approval for opening of new nursing colleges. It is expected that number of applications will cross 2500,” said an official. Notably, there has been a ban on opening of new nursing colleges in Raj since 2016. State govt has sought applications for opening new nursing colleges by July 29. Registrar of Raj Nursing Council, Shashi Kant Sharma, informed that efforts are being made to promote nursing education in pvt sector.
