14 limestone blocks to be e-auctioned soon

Jaipur: The mining department is e-auctioning 14 blocks of cement-grade limestone altogether in Nagaur-Deh. ACS (Mines) Veenu Gupta informed that as per an estimate, deposits of 481.7 million tonnes of high-quality cement-grade limestone have been found in 14.71 square kilometres in the Nagaur and Deh tehsils of Nagaur district.

“To ensure participation of newcomers along with big players, 18 blocks of 4.8 hectares area and three big blocks of about 500 hectares each have been created. Similarly, Phase II auction includes 14 Limestone blocks,” said ACS Gupta. For 14 blocks of Nagaur, tender notice has been floated on July 21. Bids can be placed in till 1 pm on August 25.
