110 vacancies in JDA to be filled

Jaipur: The path for direct recruitment to 110 posts in the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has finally been cleared.

Following instructions from JDA Commissioner Anandhi, the administration has resubmitted the proposal for recruitment to the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) and the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).

The proposed recruitment is for positions in various categories: 15 Junior Accountants, 75 Junior Assistants, and 10 Stenographers, which will be filled through the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board whereas 10 posts of Junior Legal Officer will be recruited through the Rajasthan Public Service Commission.

The recruitment proposal was initially sent to the RSSB on October 23, 2021. However, Board returned the proposal, suggesting that the eligibility criteria should align with those in other departments. In response, the JDA revised its recruitment rules. In February this year, the JDA resubmitted the proposal with the necessary amendments.

Once again, the RSSB returned the proposal, advising further modifications to the recruitment rules, including the introduction of a computer proficiency test as part of the selection process.
