‘1 Million consumers benefit from free electricity scheme’

Jaipur: Energy minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati on Thursday said that the consumer having multiple electricity connections will be able to get the benefit of free electricity scheme on the connection of his choice. He said that such consumers may update their choice in the inflation relief camp.

The facility will also be made available in AEN offices soon. Bhati held a press conference to clear misconceptions regarding the free electricity scheme. Bhati said that aim of the scheme is to provide free electricity to the economically weak consumers whose electricity consumption is 100 units per month.
