1 lakh Raj workers to attend Halla Bol rally

Jaipur: On Friday, Congress’ Raj state incharge Ajay Maken ended the confusion spread over the number of party workers and leaders heading to New Delhi from Jaipur to attend Cong’s Halla Bol Rally on September 4. Till now, it was being debated in party circles by separate groups that either 50,000 or 1L men would be sent from the state for rally. However, there was no clarity on the issue. But on Friday, Maken ended the suspense over the party’s Raj unit’s target. Speaking about the number, State Chief Govind Singh Dotasra said that 50,000 party workers will reach Delhi from Rajasthan.

However, Ajay Maken said not 50,000, but 1 lakh party workers from Rajasthan will reach Delhi for Congress’s the Halla Bol rally against the inflation and unemployment. Meanwhile, on pending district presidents and organisational appointments, Maken said, “Some things remain pending in politics. Lists will be released when the time comes.”
