In the past 9 years, since becoming Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has visited the ‘powerful’ United States of Amercia 6 times during the presidency of 3 Presidents — Barak Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden. And over these 9 years, Modi ‘charisma’ also gripped not just the US Presidency and the oval office, but even the American public. The growing power and craze of the Indian Prime Minister has resulted, for the 1st time in 9 years, of Modi being on a ‘State Visit’, an honour reserved for America’s closest allies and friends! This is also a stamp on the growing Indo-US relations which are being helmed by PM Modi, as the world has started acknowledging India’s growing global role and humane approach to issues.

Not only will this visit be a watershed moment for US-India ties, with deals expected in semi-conductor and defence technologies, but will also be the third world leader who would have addressed the US Congress for the 2nd time; a huge honour!

Yoga Day celebrations at UN, State dinner hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, addressing a gathering of Indian Americans and undertaking a high profile meeting on tech and supply chain are his other engagements planned to give India a firm footing on global defence and tech stage!

Post his US visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake his first ever visit to Egypt where he will meet President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and build on trade and strategic relations between the 2 sides.
