Won’t resign, BJP didn’t make me LoP: Ajit Pawar

Mumbai: NCP leader Ajit Pawar clarified his position by holding a press conference on Wednesday and reiterated that he will stand firmly with his remark of calling Sabhaji a Swarajya Rakshak and not Dharmaveer. Ajit Pawar said, ‘Some time back, the Governor had literally insulted the men of the country. He used words that should not have been used. Now BJP has ordered all its workers to oppose me and demand my resignation. BJP has not given me the post of leader of opposition. 53 MLAs of NCP have given me the post of Leader of the Opposition. That’s why they do not have the right on keeping or removing the leader of opposition. Others have no right to demand it.”
