Will work in unison to make Raj excel in all sectors: Guv Bagade

Jaipur: Newly appointed Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade expressed his commitment on Wednesday to bolster higher education in the state.

Emphasizing the need for quality and intellectual growth among students, he pledged to elevate Rajasthan’s universities in national and global rankings during his tenure as the Chancellor.

Speaking to the media after his swearing-in at Raj Bhavan, Bagade highlighted the close ties between Rajasthan and Maharashtra, promising efforts to enhance economic cooperation between the two states.

Drawing from his experience in the dairy industry, Bagade advocated for supporting economically disadvantaged individuals through dairy farming initiatives. He also underscored the importance of sports development, aiming to provide better facilities for Indian athletes to excel in international competitions like the Olympics.

Regarding education policies, Bagade emphasized promoting entrepreneurship courses and enhancing skills development in agriculture and traditional sectors among youths. He pledged to collaborate with industries and universities under CSR initiatives for this purpose. Bagade also expressed his commitment to uplift tribal areas and address issues of education commercialization.

Reflecting on his predecessors’ contributions, Bagade vowed to continue advancing initiatives that instill respect for the Constitution among youth, echoing PM’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.’

He further aimed to extend Rajasthan’s agricultural and cooperative progress to tribal regions.
