Will Uddhav find Raut’s alternative for Maha and Central politics?

New Delhi: In Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray is currently engrossed in saving Shiv Sena as well as finding an alternative to Sanjay Raut. Raut was not a major political player and manager, yet he was the interface of the party. He was the spokesperson of Shiv Sena and completely handled the politics of Delhi.

Apart from this, he was the editor of ‘Saamana’, the mouthpiece of Shiv Sena. He has been arrested by the ED and there is little scope for his immediate release. So the Shiv Sena chief urgently needs a man who can replace Sanjay Raut and play the three roles simultaneously.

Keep in mind Sanjay Raut has been a journalist and was once considered to be a very fastpaced crime reporter in Mumbai.

He also did a good job in political reporting and has good command over Marathi language. Marathi journalists reading ‘Saamana’ estimate that Sanjay Raut had a punch in his language.

He used to write an antidote, whose message was very clear to the Shiv Sainiks. So, Uddhav urgently needs a good editor. Apart from this, Raut is also a leader making negative or positive narrative as a spokesperson, a quality which other leaders of Shiv Sena do not have. Thirdly, the political developments in Delhi are going on at a fast pace and many leaders are working for the unity of the opposition. Uddhav also needs a leader representing Shiv Sena in that politics. Will Uddhav lead Aaditya Thackeray in Delhi politics? Or will Priyanka Chaturvedi, Arvind Sawant, Rajan Vichare, Subhash and Anil Desai work to that end? This remains to be seen.
