Will Manoj Bajpayee be a part of the much-awaited Pushpa 2?

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Pushpa: The Rise was a revolutionary film that came as a storm in the theatres. It took over every film industry and became one of the highest-grossing films of all time. With critically acclaimed performances by Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the film also had a heart-racing background score with excellent songs. Now, the makers are gearing up for the second part of the film, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. Recently, rumours started doing rounds that Manoj Bajpayee will be a part of the film and will essay the role of a cop.

Dismissing these rumours, Manoj questioned the media during his recent interaction, “From where do you guys get such news?” He denied the rumours saying there is no truth to such news. Sukumar will once again don the hat of a writer and director for the second part as well. The movie will begin filming by August this year and will revolve around the war between Allu Arjun’s Pushpa and Fahadh Faasil’s SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. It will have a multinational set up this time with the problems in Pushpa’s business intensifying.

There were previous rumours that also suggested that the audience’s beloved character and Rashmika’s one of the most famous roles, Srivalli will die in this part. But no clarification has been given by Rashmika or the makers. So, the truth in this rumour will be revealed when the movie comes out. The film is expected to release by the end of the year or in the first half of 2023.
