Why was Sidhu’s name included in Aam Aadmi Party’s opinion poll?

New Delhi: Why did Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal got the name of Navjot Singh Sidhu included in the opinion poll for the face of his party’s chief minister in Punjab?

When any party will take the opinion of the people in the name of CM contender, why will it include the name of any other party leader?

But AAP included Sidhu’s name in the opinion poll conducted to decide the name of its party’s CM contender.

The question is, when Sidhu was included, why then were the names of Captain Amarinder Singh and Badal father-son duo also included?

Or why the name of Balbir Singh Rajewal, a farmer leader contesting from the United Samaj Morcha’s side, was not included? And if these names also got some votes, then why wasn’t it announced?

Why was it that the vote percentage of Mann and Sidhu were announced?

Kejriwal said that Mann has been elected by more than 93 per cent people, while Sidhu has got 3.60 per cent votes.

Some people had voted for Kejriwal himself, but he did not disclose it. In fact, one of the motives of showing Sidhu percentage votes was to humiliate him.

The second was to give a message to the voters of the state that both Sidhu and Mann have been associated with comedy shows but Mann is more popular than Sidhu.

The third message is for Jat Sikh voters. Kejriwal felt that Sidhu’s popularity was high among them and since the Congress has not declared the CM candidate, a group of Jat Sikh voters may go with the Congress in the name of Sidhu.

Sidhu does a ‘firebrand’ politics according to the Jat Sikh voters and does not consider the Chief Minister anything in front of him.

His branding can attract young Jat Sikh voters. To downplay him, an attempt was made to downplay Sidhu through false opinion polls.
