What will be the next course of action of RJD and Left leaders?

New Delhi: The Left parties had opposed the Bharat Jodo Yatra of the Congress in Kerala. Since in Kerala there is a one-on-one contest between the two parties and both the parties openly fight against each other, there was no question of the leaders of the Communist parties joining Rahul Gandhi’s visit there. But it is not known what will be the stand of the communist parties going forward. Keep in mind that there is good co-operation between the Congress and the Communist parties and in West Bengal both fought the elections in coordination. In Kerala, the party usually runs according to Prakash Karat, but elsewhere Sitaram Yechury has more power and Rahul Gandhi has a very good relationship with Yechury. Only then it is being speculated that communist leaders may also participate in the two-monthlong yatra.

It is being expressed that if the leaders of Rashtriya Janata Dal and Janata Dal U, the allies of the Congress in Bihar, join the Bharat Jodo Yatra, then along with them the leaders of the communist parties can also be a part of the yatra. CPI, CPM and CPIML are part of all three Grand Alliance in Bihar. Although the MLAs of these three parties are not part of the government, they have extended outside support to the government. That’s why it is being speculated that the leaders of the parties of the Grand Alliance may attend the Congress rally. However, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav have not yet decided in this regard. Now the Congress yatra will remain in the state of North India and the leaders of the Congress believe that if the leaders of RJD, JDU and Left join the yatra then there can be benefit in the election-bound states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
