What happened to Aparna and Aditi’s inclusion in Adityanath government?

New Delhi: It is rightly said that in today’s BJP, if some leader comes into lime light or if they are discussed to a greater extent by the media, then their name may be struck off from the political rolls for ever! Earlier, if there was talk of a BJP leader becoming a minister or getting a ticket or getting any other post, then the discussions usually turned out to be correct.

But if there is a discussion these days, then it is sure to be proved wrong. Like this time, for the formation of Uttar Pradesh government, the oath of the government was stalled for 15 days and in the meantime dozens of names were kept in the running by the media, but in the end, all the names were dropped.

There was talk of making Mulayam Singh’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav a minister. Similarly, the name of Aditi Singh, who left the Congress and joined the BJP, was also in the news. But neither of them got a chance.

There are 10 percent ie five women ministers in the government with 52 ministers, but both of them were left out. Similarly, Rajeshwar Singh, a high profile officer in the ED, was also believed to be appointed as a minister.

But he also got a chance to sit in the audience at the swearingin ceremony. Although about 10 ministerial posts have been kept vacant, but there will be no reshuffle in the government for the next several months. Those who are left out will have to wait a long time for a crack at the ministerial berth!
