Tonk: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma launched the ‘Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’ on Sunday, disbursing the first installment of Rs. 1000 directly into the bank accounts of over 65 lakh farmers across the state. Emphasising women empowerment, Rs. 3 lakh each was allocated to 51 women village cooperative societies.

Additionally, fulfilling commitments outlined in the Sankalp Patra, an interest-free crop loan of Rs. 350 cr was extended to farmers. Speaking at the occasion, Sharma criticised the previous government without naming Congress, highlighting his administration’s fulfillment of poll promises. He accused Congress of making false promises and neglecting important issues.
