Wait over! Tender of Rs 311.37 crore for expansion of Jodhpur airport issued

Jodhpur: Long wait for the expansion of Jodhpur airport is over now. With the efforts of Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Airport Authority of India has issued a tender worth Rs 311.37 crore for the expansion works of the airport. The expansion will be in 49 acres and is scheduled to be completed in one and a half years. Thirteen aircraft will be able to stand together in the apron area after the expansion work is done. Terminal building, ancillary building like sub station, AC plant room, pump room, car parking, multilevel car parking, aircraft parking base, apron control tower, CSE area are to be constructed at Jodhpur airport. The existing terminal building will be expanded and a new terminal building will be constructed.
