EXCLUSIVE! Vijay Vikram Singh: Bigg Boss will always be my priority

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Many may wonder who is responsible for the deep and authoritative voice behind Bigg Boss. It is none other than, Vijay Vikram Singh who has entered every household and captured the attention of the audience with just his voice. The voice actor is finally entering the world where the audience can see his face. One may even remember him as the spectacle-laden and bald teammate of Srikant Tiwari in the first season of The Family Man. Talking to First India, the actor spills some beans on his extensive voice acting career and his newfound passion for acting on screen.

On how he came into the acting industry, Vijay revealed, “My journey of acting started with theatre. It built my curiosity towards acting and then I got that acting kick after I got the chance to star in DK Chawla’s The Family Man. After that, I trained myself more and began auditioning more.”

Talking about his small but important role in ‘777 Charlie’, the Special Ops actor stated that he loved shooting for the film as his role was crucial to the plot. But he further mentioned that even during that time, his first priority was recording voiceovers for Bigg Boss. He only had one condition for the shoot that there should be internet for him to send his voiceovers. “The show has given so much to me that there is a solidarity and honesty towards it. In those three and half months, my first priority is always Bigg Boss.”

Starring in a pan India movie himself, Vijay stated that these movies were watched by the audience on a small screen even before the concept of pan India emerged. “Although people used to watch these movies before as well, they used to watch the dubbed version. And these versions have been favoured for a long time. Many movie channels thrive on these Hindi dubs. So, these films were watched in the North since the beginning, they just got a scale now.”
