Veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi passes away

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Veteran Mithilesh Chaturvedi passed away late evening on August 3 in Lucknow, reports have stated. The actor was suffering from heart ailments and had recently suffered a massive heart attack. He shifted to his hometown after that to recover from his illness.

The news was disclosed by Ashish Chaturvedi, his son-in-law as he dedicated a Facebook post for him. Along with a slew of photos of him, Ashish wrote, “You were the best father in the world. You didn't treat me like a son-in-law but loved me like a son. May god rest your soul.”

Mithilesh Chaturvedi was a known face in some of the biggest Bollywood films. He starred in ‘Koi..Mil Gaya’, ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Satya’, ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, ‘Krrish’, ‘Taal’, ‘Ready’, ‘Fiza’ and ‘Asoka’ among others.

Additionally, the actor had been cast in a web series with Maninee De titled 'Talli Joddi'. There were reports last year that the actor would be appearing in the upcoming series. Further information about the same was not provided, however.
