Uttar Pradesh: Stringent norms for migrant workers amid Covid fervid
Uttar Pradesh: On Thursday, Additional Chief Secretary Amit Mohan Prasad furnished guidelines for migrant workers who are coming back to the state amid the Covid crisis.
The order states that all the workers who are entering the state need to go through the screening process conducted by the district administration. The workers demonstrating Covid-9 symptoms will be quarantined for 14 days at home and those showing no symptoms will be quarantined for 7 days.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to officials for rendering proper arrangements for Covid testing and quarantine of the migrant workers in the state.
