UP MINISTER, 3 BJP LEADERS QUIT!

Lucknow/New Delhi: In a massive jolt to BJP & Yogi Adityanath just before UP polls, a minister and 3 MLAs quit & joined the party’s main challenger, Akhilesh Yadav.

Swami Prasad Maurya, a top minister & backward caste leader in Yogi govt, posted his resignation on Twitter.

Soon after he went public, 3 more MLAs, Roshan Lal Verma, Brijesh Prajapati & Bhagwati Sagar announced their resignations. Reports suggest Maurya may take a few more ministers and MLAs with him.

As Maurya’s letter emerged on Twitter, Akhilesh tweeted a pic with him, welcoming him and his supporters. Later Verma too declared he was leaving BJP with Maurya.
