UP IAS officer Mukesh Meshram not to go on Central deputation
Lucknow: Mukesh Meshram, a trusted IAS officer of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, will no longer go on central deputation. After being empaneled in the center, Meshram was given an important posting as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture. Officials say that earlier both Meshram and his wife were going to the center but on the special request of the Chief Minister, Mukesh has changed his decision because all the development of tourism and culture, charitable work in the state was being handled by Meshram, thus carrying out an important responsibility. The Uttar Pradesh government has a total of 11 IAS officer of principal secretary ranks from the 1995 batch. Out of these, 6 IAS - Dr. Ashish Kumar Goyal, IAS Bhuvnesh Kumar, IAS Mrityunjay Kumar Narayan, IAS Santosh Kumar Yadav, IAS Mohammad Mustafa and IAS Amod Kumar are already on central deputation, while only 5 IAS officers are posted in UP. Among these are IAS Sanjay Prasad who is playing the important responsibility of PS Home, Information; IAS Amrit Abhijat has full charge of city development and IAS R Ramesh Kumar, IAS K R Nayak and IAS Mukesh Meshram have important responsibilities.
