Udaipur: 4 kids drown in pond; bodies recovered

Udaipur: On Saturday, four children drowned in a pond in Udaipur. The children had gone to the forest to graze goats and decided to bathe in the pond, where they tragically drowned.

Among the victims were two siblings and two other children. The incident caused widespread distress in the area.

Local police, led by Kurabad Station Officer Chail Singh, arrived at the scene and, with the help of villagers, recovered the bodies from the pond.

The deceased included three girls. All the bodies were retrieved and sent to the hospital mortuary for post-mortem. The incident occurred in the Lalpuria area within the Kurabad police jurisdiction.
