Two bike-borne assailants open fire at car in Delhi's Dwarka

New Delhi: Two bike-borne men fired at a car in Dwarka's Dabri area in Delhi, said the police. The fire shot was aimed at a person but the bullets hit the car stranded nearby, the police added.
The police said that information about the incident was received at Dabri Police Station at around 6:42 PM on Saturday.
According to the police, old enmity had been there between the alleged accused and the person they targeted. The three have previous cases registered on them, police added.
The police confirmed that no one was injured in the incident, adding that a case has been registered under appropriate sections and the investigation for the assailants is on, the police said.
Earlier on June 19, one person was shot dead inside a food outlet in Delhi's Rajouri Garden. Upon receiving the information of the firing incident, a team of police and forensics were rushed to the spot. The investigation in this case is still going on.
A 21-year-old boy sustained an injury after a bullet hit him in the leg in the Kishan Kunj area of Laxmi Nagar in the capital city of New Delhi, on May 21.
The injured person was identified as Bilal, a resident of Murtiwali Gali in the Kishan Kunj area of Laxmi Nagar.
One of the three accused Danish was nabbed by the police from the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh along with the two looted mobile phones from his possession.
In another incident that took place on May 9, the Delhi Police Special Cell arrested one accused after he along with two other shooters opened fire at a car showroom in the Tilak Nagar area.
Delhi Police said, "An incident of firing has been reported in a car showroom in the Tilak Nagar area. Multiple shots were fired. Some people have sustained injuries due to the broken glass.
The accused had been identified as Ketan (20), the Special Cell of Delhi Police said. The accused was arrested from Panipat.
According to Special Cell sources, during interrogation, Ketan revealed that gangster Himanshu Bhau, sitting abroad, had ordered him to open fire at the showroom. Himanshu Bhau is close to gangster Neeraj Bawana and gangster Naveen Bali.
