Trolls take a dig at Shah Rukh Khan for hoisting the tricolour on Independence Day

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Shah Rukh Khan has been a constant subject to trolls throughout his career. Be it good or bad, whatever the star has done in his professional and personal life always is taken with criticism and hatred. While the entire country celebrated 75 years of Independence on August 15 this year, celebrities too shared glimpses of their own celebrations with their loved ones. Similarly, Shah Rukh too shared his celebration with his family when he hoisted the Indian flag at Mannat with his family.

In a video shared on his Instagram, Shah Rukh, Gauri, Aryan and AbRam were seen standing on their terrace while AbRam with the help of police personnel hoisted the Indian flag while the others saluted with pride. In the captions, SRK wrote, “Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly.”

One may think what could go wrong with such an innocent post. But trolls have yet again found a way to ridicule the actor for hoisting the tricolour. One troll took a dig at the actor for his religious affiliations as they wrote, “Muslim ho or flag india ka laga rahay ho”. Another netizen dragged his flop films and said, “Yeh sab karne se Pathan aur Dunki hit nahi ho Jayenge”. One user even dragged Aryan’s drug case in between as they wrote, “Aryan ko bol drugs wale hath se Flag na touch kare”.

Although SRK has never paid attention to trolls, these remarks come as a new low for the trolls who are waiting to attack every move of celebrities. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for a big year in 2023 with three major releases including YRF’s Pathaan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Atlee’s Jawan with Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki with Taapsee Pannu.
