TROLLED! Nushratt Bharuccha called ‘obscene’ after latest poster release of ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Nushratt Bharuccha is always known for picking up films with a moral to learn from. Even with something like Pyaar ka Punchnama and Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety, the actress gave some exceptional performances that are still etched in people’s minds. This time, the actress is coming up with a social comedy that will not only make audiences laugh but also preach about a taboo topic in society.

Janhit Mein Jaari starring Nushratt Bharuccha and Pavail Gulati released its first look recently. Nushratt who is shown as a condom salesgirl can be seen wearing a green saree while holding a loudspeaker in her hand. The poster had the tagline, “Aurat ke anaadar se sharam karo, condom ki baton se nahi (Be ashamed of disrespecting women, not of talking about condoms).”

Another poster shared by her showed her wearing a green top with the tagline printed, “Stalking karne se sharam karo, condom use karne se nahin (Be ashamed of stalking, not of using condoms).”

The movie talks about a great social topic that has been rarely discovered in movies. But netizens did not take the issue positively as many resorted to trolling the actress mercilessly. Several found the topic of the movie “obscene” despite there not being any visual or written obscenity. One user commented, “This will surely be a D grade movie”, while another wrote, “I guess Nushratt did not get any projects, hence she is making such films now.”

Janhit Mein Jaari is directly by Omung Kumar who has previously given some Bollywood hits such as Mary Kom and Sarbjit among others. Although the film takes a step ahead to discuss topics that are a huge taboo in society, the reaction of netizens reveals that people are not ready to get out of the orthodox philosophies and be a bit more liberal.
