TROLLED! ‘How can you make a joke like this’ fans question after a scene blunder in Samrat Prithviraj

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Samrat Prithviraj starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar has graced the theatres after much anticipation. The historical drama, based on the life of Rajput warrior king Prithviraj, tried to bring to life the epic love story of Samrat Prithviraj and Queen Sanyuktha and the legendary battle between Prithviraj and Muhammad Ghori. The film has received mixed reviews from the critics and audience so far and while some loved it, many found it lacking.

But as soon as the film was released, netizens were quick enough to troll the film for a silly blunder. Akshay Kumar has recently shared a black and white picture on his Instagram with the caption, “जो शत्रु का भी सम्मान करे लेकिन युद्ध से कभी पीछे ना हटे. देखिए ऐसे महान योद्धा की कहानी. 2 days to go! #SamratPrithviraj releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu at a theatre near you. Book your tickets now.” Many noticed that the rope was loosely tied to the hand. It was so loose that one could easily remove their hand from the loop. This mess up did not sit well with the audience who trolled the actor and asked him if this film was a joke to him.

One user wrote, “This happens when you try to complete a movie in a few days!!”

While another user wrote, “@akshaykumar भाई कम से कम हाथों को बांध तो लेते! If you are making a film on a real story then how can you make a joke this like?”

As Akshay Kumar is releasing a series of films based on the Hindu culture, many netizens are coming out to point out the goof ups done either in the scene or on the posters. A similar incident occurred when the poster of Ram Setu featuring Akshay, Jacqueline Fernandez and Satyadev Kanchrana looked up through a fire torch while Jacqueline held a powerful battery torch upside down in her hand.

Samrat Prithviraj stars Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar, Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt and Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar and Manav Vij in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
