Mumbai (Maharashtra): Allu Arjun is still riding high on the success of his last release ‘Pushpa’ and fans are already eager to know about its upcoming sequel. The actor was recently seen in town on a work errand wearing a casual fit of printed blue t-shirt and black trousers. However, netizens weren’t impressed with him as many fat-shamed the actor for his bulkier appearance.
Allu Arjun appeared to seem more sizeable than his usual fit self and a few fans speculated it to be his Pushpa 2 look. But several others brutally trolled the Arya actor and even called him ‘vada pav’.
One troll wrote, “Day by day going budaa”, while another commented, “Lasith Malinga, bht time baad dekha”. A user even made fun of his appearance while writing, “Vadapaw look”.
Allu Arjun is already a pan-India superstar and the success of Pushpa elevated his fanbase even more. He has now become a household name due to his portrayal of a redwood sandal smuggler. Many fans have already come up with theories and several rumours are afloat about the film sequel.
Such negativity towards someone who has gained a substantially loyal fanbase and achieved immense stardom shows that trolls do not spare anyone from their claws of brutal criticism.
