Trailer Review: The horror-comedy is a spookfest with a sizzling Kartik-Kiara chemistry and a mysterious Tabu

Mumbai (Maharashtra): The trailer of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was launched on April 26 at 1 PM. The horror-comedy that stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu in the lead roles, is a sequel to the 2007 psychological horror-comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. The trailer starts with the very famous song from the previous instalment, “Aame Je Tomar”. A voiceover narrated by Tabu clears that the movie takes place 15 years after the first movie ended. The trailer states at the start that this time the movie will have a real ghost that performs black magic.

Kartik Aaryan is introduced in the trailer with a very witty and funny charm as he pronounces having the ability to see dead people. The video further shows a beautiful Kiara and her sizzling chemistry with her costar Kartik. A hilarious Rajpal Yadav reprises his role as Chhote Pandit and Sanjay Mishra has newly joined the cast to make sure that there is no limit to the humour quotient. Tabu seems to carry a mysterious aura in the trailer.

The trailer showcases Kiara’s look as a possessed Monjulika but a male voice singing “Aame Je Tomar” at the end leaves the audience hanging with the question of whether there is a presence of a male ghost as well. The trailer also gives a sneak peek into the double role of Kartik Aaryan.

The film will release on May 20.
