TIME TO DISTRIBUTE THE PIE

Lucknow: After ensuring success in the recently concluded by-polls, the BJP camp is now gearing up to deal with the next challenges. In order to strengthen the party for Mission-2024, BJP is preparing to accommodate the workers and office bearers of its organization in various state-owned commissions, corporations and boards also in district to state level committees of councils.

Caste and regional equations will be taken care of in these appointments, as well as the focus will be on increasing the representation from those areas where the party could not get the desired election results.

It is noteworthy that after securing a thumping majority in the assembly elections, the winning streak of BJP continues. After ensuring the victory in eight seats of the UP quota of Rajya Sabha, nine Legislative Council seats and two by-polls, BJP strategists are now eyeing the commissions, corporations, council bodies and boards of UP.

Moreover, after the new appointment to the post of State President, new appointments will be made in place of State Vice President, General Secretary, State General Secretary and other office bearers. In such a situation, the party will accommodate the existing hard working and dedicated office bearers in corporations-commissions and boards.

According to the sources, in the recent assembly elections, SP had made a clean sweep in A m b e d k a r n a g a r, Kaushambi, Ghazipur, Azamgarh and Shamli. Apart from these districts, the expected results could not be found in many other seats. The representation of these areas in the appointments of commissions and boards will be increased so that the morale of the party functionaries can be boosted here. Also, those former ministers and MLAs who have lost the elections are also hoping for accommodation in these appointments.
