There’s no age for sports: Ashok Chandna

Jaipur: MoS for Sports, Ashok Chandna, while stressing on creating an environment of sports in state, said that there is no age limit to be in sports.

One should keep playing whenever he gets a chance in life. Sighting the example towards sports in Rural Olympics, he stated that out of 26.85 lakh players registered in the games, more than one lakh players are 50+ years of age.

Chandna was distributing prizes to winners & runnersup players of the Secretariat Sports Competition 2021-22. Chandna added that if an environment of sports is created in state, then the foundation of a ‘healthy society’ can be laid.

Raj Women have won national medals for first time in Kabaddi, Volleyball, & Handball. Earlier, Prez of Secretariat Employees’ Union, Abhimanyu Sharma thanked CM Gehlot & Chandna for promoting sports in Rajasthan.
