The Wait is over! Pushpa 2 to soon commence filming!

Superstar Allu Arjun had the film fraternity go crazy with his 2021 action-drama ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. Not only did the movie become a superhit in the original Telugu language but gained massive traction and love for its Hindi-dubbed version as well. The film starred Allu Arjun in the titular role of Pushpa with Rashmika Mandanna as the other main lead. Along with a fabulous supporting cast of Fahad Faasil, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Prakash Raj and many more, Pushpa became the pandemic’s most successful movie.

Fans have ever since been eagerly waiting for the second chapter of the trilogy. Pinkvilla has reported that the shooting of the second movie will commence in July this year!

"While the work on Pushpa 2 has already kickstarted in terms of location scouting and script, Allu Arjun is set to commence work from June end or in July. Before he jumps to start shooting for Sukumar's Pushpa 2, AA will take a short trip with his family,", a source close to the production revealed.

Srikanth Vissa who wrote the now trending dialogues of the previous movie is working on the second part as well. As per the source, Sukumar, the movie director is focusing on the dialogues more considering the impact they had on the previous part. “It is not an easy task as Sukumar always craves perfection and he looks for details. The makers plan to shoot some important scenes in the first schedule. The team is gearing up while Sukumar has begun reading scripts," the source further added.

Pushpa: The Rise was among the few movies that were released after the second lockdown lifted. It not only broke box office records but collected a much-welcomed crowd towards the theatres that suffered losses during the pandemic induced lockdowns. What impact the next instalment of the trilogy would have on people is something that has intrigued film enthusiasts.
