Support taxpayers, do not find faults in them

Jaipur: Central Board of Indirect Taxes (CBIC) Chairman Sanjay Kumar Agarwal in a review meeting on Thursday instructed the officers to ensure maximum compliance of the law by supporting the taxpayers and not pointing out their mistakes. During his one-day visit to Jaipur, he asked the officers to focus on revenue collection.

The meeting was attended by State Chief Commissioner CGST Mahendra Ranga, Principal Commissioner CGST Jaipur C K Jain, Commissioner CGST Alwar Sumit Kumar Yadav, CGST Commissioner Jodhpur S Anantha Krishnan, CGST Commissioner Udaipur DS Meena and other senior officers. Agarwal also addressed the review meeting of Customs Commissionerate, in which Principal Commissioner Sugriv Meena and senior officers of department were present.
