Thrissur: PM Narendra Modi addressed a mass gathering of 2L women in Thrissur on Wednesday, sounding the poll bugle for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Titled ‘Sthree Shakthi Modikkoppam’ (Empower Women with Modi), convention, was held at sprawling Thekkinkadu ground, organised by the Kerala unit of BJP to congratulate Modi for successfully passing Women’s Reservation Bill in both Parl Houses. Addressing event, Modi emphasised 10 crore Ujjwala gas connections, 11 crore pipeline water connections, 12 crore toilets, Rs 1 Suvidha sanitary pads, financial inclusion for one lakh Kerala women, and girls’ admission to Sainik schools.
