Spar between BJP councillors & Dr Somya, only 9 agendas passed
Jaipur: In the meeting of the Executive Committee held on Tuesday at JMCG, discord was visible between BJP councillors & chairperson. Councillors were seen in two different factions in the meeting. One group supported Deputy Mayor Puneet Karnavat & others Mayor Dr Somya. Karnavat had a heated discussion with the officials on several issues. In the meeting, which lasted for about four hours, only nine out of 31 agendas could be passed. Along with naming road after former VP Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, proposal to make city free of open garbage depots and ban the rearing of dangerous breed dogs in the city was discussed.
Mayor Dr Somya gave a befitting reply to the opponents.
