Sonia keeps Gehlot guessing, might give him an appt for today!

New Delhi: With suspense building around the Congress president election and everyone from political opponents, political commentators and observers and even the general public waiting to learn what the future holds for Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the three time Chief Minister and senior Congress leader reached New Delhi late on Wednesday night, having flown from Jaipur. At the New Delhi airport, Gehlot was received by Dheeraj Srivastava and MLA Danish Abrar. Meanwhile, it is believed that CM Gehlot will be given an audience by Sonia Gandhi on Thursday.

Interestingly, with political development in Raj, since Sunday, it is being said that there is a question over Gehlot running for party presidency. One section has claimed that Gehlot isn’t yet out of the race for presidency. However, any concrete development in this regard, will occur only after Gehlot meets Sonia Gandhi & the duo reach a decisive understanding. Meanwhile, the CM also spoke to media at Delhi airport and said, “We will soon resolve current situation of Congress family. Congress is under Sonia Gandhi’s command. Small things do happen in a large family.”Word in ‘relevant’ circles is that ex- MP CM Digvijaya Singh may stand for Congress prez poll. With this, political observers claim that if Singh fills nomination , he would give a chance to High Command to have an option at their disposal.
