Soldier’s death sparks protests; while family demands martyr status

Bikaner: In Bikaner’s Panchu village, the suspicious death of soldier Ramswaroop Kaswa has sparked outrage, leading to protests at Museum Circle, where the highway was blocked. Demonstrators demanded that Kaswa be posthumously declared a martyr and called for the removal of the District Soldier Welfare Officer.

Despite efforts from officials, including ADM City Ramesh Dev and ADSPs Pyarelal Sheoran and Deepak Sharma, negotiations were unsuccessful.

Local leaders, including Nokha MLA Susheela Dudi and former minister Govind Meghwal, joined the protests, alongside various political and social activists. The situation remained tense as protesters continued seeking demands. Further developments in the case are awaited.
