Mumbai (Maharashtra): Deepika Padukone was an excellent representative of the Indian cinema at the Cannes Film Festival. She not only attended the event as a jury this year, but her excellent fashion choices also made her stand out in the crowd as well. After the film festival has come to an end this year, the actress posted a video compilation of her stint at the Cannes. Right from her red carpet looks to her various photoshoots and wardrobe changes, Deepika documented every detail and compiled it in her video.
The video started with a background voice over, “Deepika Padukone is undoubtedly one of the big Indian eye-catchers at the Cannes Film Festival in the French Riviera”. It then led on to the compilation of Deepika’s several attires on the remix music of ‘Sound of da police’ a 2000 song by KRS-One, ‘This is America’ by Childish Gambino and others.
While her fans sent in a lot of praises in the comments section, one particular praise got everyone excited. Priyanka Chopra Jonas who was missing from all red-carpet events due to the birth of her daughter Malti Marie made sure to shower love on her contemporary as she left a heart-eyes emoji in the comments section.
Although the actresses are yet to star in a movie together, they are currently busy with their individual work schedules. Deepika is coming up with some interesting projects such as Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and the official Hindi adaption of the Hollywood classic ‘The Intern’ with Amitabh Bachchan. Meanwhile, Priyanka is shooting for her Hollywood projects Citadel, It’s All Coming Back To Me and will soon begin her Bollywood project, the Farhan Akhtar directorial ‘Jee Le Zaara’ with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
