Shocking News! Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s Delhi Residence Robbed!

A piece of shocking news has been revealed that may upset the Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja fandom. The couple’s New Delhi residence was robbed with cash and jewellery worth 1.41 crore being stolen from the crime scene. It was reported that Sonam Kapoor’s mother-in-law, Priya Ahuja, was the first to lodge a complaint at the Tughlaq Road police station on February 23. An investigation squad was formed immediately by the Delhi Police as it is a high-level case. Even the FSL has been involved in the collection of evidence from the crime scene.

The bungalow located at Amrita Shergill Marg is the residential place of Sonam’s in-laws. Sarla Ahuja, Anand Ahuja’s grandmother revealed that she learned about the theft on February 23 when she opened the locker to check on the jewellery and cash. She further stated that the last time she checked the locker was two years ago. According to the Marathi ABP report, 25 staff members of the household are being questioned apart from 9 caretakers, drivers, gardeners and other workers.

The police are going through a year’s worth of CCTV footage to note any suspicious activity. As of now, no suspects have been named.

Currently, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are living in Mumbai as they are preparing to become new parents at the end of this year. The Raanjhana actress is presently residing at her father, Anil Kapoor’s house in Juhu.
