Shiv Sena MLA's son and gang booked for abduction & assault of music company CEO in rivalry clash

Mumbai: A dramatic incident unfolded as a group of approximately 10 to 12 individuals, including the son of a Shiv Sena MLA, were implicated in the kidnapping and physical assault of a music company CEO. The victim, Rajkumar Singh, had been embroiled in a financial dispute with Manoj Mishra, the owner of a competing music company. Singh's day took a distressing turn when he received a summons to visit the office of MLA Prakash Surve, aligned with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's camp.

Despite scheduling his appearance for Saturday, Singh's plans were abruptly disrupted as the group stormed into his office, berating and physically attacking him in front of his employees. Shockingly, Singh was forcibly taken from his workplace, with attempts by his colleagues to intervene proving futile. The captors transported him to various locations, including MLA Surve's office and an apartment building. Throughout this harrowing experience, Singh was threatened and coerced into signing a document, all while being held at gunpoint.

Prompt action by Singh's colleagues led to police involvement, ultimately culminating in his rescue from the clutches of the MLA's office. A formal complaint was lodged, resulting in the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against the perpetrators. Authorities have initiated a manhunt for the suspects, deploying teams of officers to bring those responsible to justice.
