Set good governance example by being sensitive to commoners: CS to officials

Jaipur: Chief Secretary Usha Sharma during her first meeting through video-conferencing at the Secretariat on Monday, directed the Divisional Commissioners, Collectors and Superintendents of Police to strengthen the public service delivery and address the common peoples’ problems on the spot through innovative steps.

Sharma said that the District Collectors and Superintendents of Police must set an example of good governance by being sensitive towards the common man.

She also instructed for timely disposal of the cases through Jansunwai and Sampark portal. “If the District Collectors and the Superintendents of Police will resolve the cases at their respective levels, then the system at the lower level will automatically improve,” she said.

Sharma directed the officials to monitor the state government’s flagship schemes, budget, and public announcements.

She said that the welfare schemes must reach the deserving. She further also stressed on improving service delivery by promoting education, health, women empowerment, proper development of children and digital technology
