Scared of ED action, Raut adopts 'offence is the best defence' strategy against BJP!

NewDelhi: Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut is scared of central agencies. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had sent a notice to his wife regarding a 10-year-old transaction.

His wife also appeared before the ED and said that she had taken a loan from an old friend, which has now been returned.

Even after that, the eyes of the central agencies remained on Raut. Later action was taken by the central agencies against one of Sanjay's close businessman Praveen Raut.

Many leaders close to Raut are on the target of central agencies, for which he has written a letter to Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu and other opposition leaders saying that pressure is being put on him through central agencies to topple the Maharashtra government.

Actually, Raut is afraid of g e t t i n g caught in the investigation, so he is trying to position himself well in advance.

Along with this, he has also started intimidating BJP leaders also, as a side tactic. He has adopted a strategy of attack to defend himself. Raut has claimed that some Maharashtra BJP leaders will soon be behind bars. He has talked about 'three and half' i.e. three and a half leaders going to jail.

This means that three big leaders and one small leader will be trapped. But, on the hindsight, is he not weakening his own case by making such announcements?

After this announcement, if any agency of the state government takes action, then it will be considered as an act of political vendetta and it will be easy for them to get relief from the court.

That's when it seems that he is pressurizing the BJP leaders by intimidating them that if they want to survive, then the action against Raut will have to be stopped.
