Sardarshahar: Cong hopeful of victory on sympathy wave

Jaipur: Sardarshahar bypoll results will be declared today. Interestingly, the betting market of Shekhawati and Phalodi is also showing the victory of Congress. If the sympathy wave continues, this seat will come back to Congress. In the current Congress govt, by-elections were held in Ramgarh, Sujangarh, Sahara, Vallabhnagar, Rajsamand, Mandawa, and Dhariyavad constituencies, out of which BJP won only in Rajsamand and RLP in Khinvsar while Congress won in all other places. Congress is hopeful that the sympathy wave will ensure its victory and Anil Sharma, son of late MLA Pandit Bhanwar Lal Sharma, will win. On the other hand, BJP is expecting that former MLA Ashok Pincha will become MLA again and RLP is expecting that its ‘bottle’ will win on the basis of farmer votes.
