Sanitation workers call off their seven day long strike
Jaipur: The seven-day strike by sanitation workers has come to an end on Sunday evening. A meeting was held at the residence of the MLA with a delegation of sanitation workers. After the meeting, the delegation proceeded to the Heritage Corporation headquarters. Former union president Nand Kishore Dandoria made the announcement of calling off the strike.
It is to be mentioned that A directive has been issued for the employees on strike by the JMCH Commissioner stating that the strike is gross negligence under Rajasthan Service Rules 86. Sunday was the 7th day of sanitation workers’ strike.
