Saffron, Red, Green, Yellow and Blue: The divided colors of UP Asembly!

Lucknow: The session of the new Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh is looking very colorful. Earlier, only the leaders of the Samajwadi Party used to wear red caps in the assembly, however, since this time the number of Samajwadi Party MLAs in the assembly is more than one hundred, hence ‘red caps’ are visible across the assembly seats.

Earlier BJP leaders used to wear saffron gamcha but now they too have started wearing saffron cap. Keep in mind that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wore a saffron cap several times in the past.

He also did a road show in Gujarat wearing a saffron cap. That is why the leaders of BJP have started wearing saffron caps in place of or along with saffron. So, the whole house is looking replete with red and saffron caps. But it is not that only these two colors are visible in the house.

Yellow color has been added to it by Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party. This time the MLAs who won from Omprakash Rajbhar’s party are coming to the house wearing a yellow cap and wearing a yellow gamchha. Last time, the Rashtriya Lok Dal had only one MLA, but this time its number of MLAs has increased to eight and following the tend, these eight legislators are coming to the house wearing green caps.

The BSP now has only one MLA, who is coming to the house wearing a blue cap and a blue color gamchha. Therefore, the UP asembly appears to be a an arists rendition of the Holi festival.
